Teams at Aurora

Lead coordination and delivery of quarterly software releases for the Aurora Driver. Own release planning, feature scope, cross-functional dependency management, risk escalation, and performance metrics. Communicate status and tradeoffs to senior leadership, partner with Data Science, Engineering, Product Ops, and Business teams, and champion product/program best practices while mentoring junior managers.

Design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art perception ML models (detection, tracking, action recognition, semantic understanding) for real-time autonomous vehicles. Optimize models for degraded sensors and long-range sensing, scale ML pipelines, and collaborate across teams to debug and productionize robust perception systems using large-scale datasets.

The Staff Hardware Reliability Engineer will lead reliability assessments for sensors, conduct failure analysis, and collaborate cross-functionally to improve product robustness in autonomous vehicles.
