Manages a venture lending client portfolio, develops relationships that generate loans, deposits, and other banking products, and oversees borrower performance, credit risk, collateral verification, underwriting, negotiations, and loan closings. The role coordinates with clients, investors, legal counsel, credit teams, and internal banking groups; prepares portfolio reports; resolves loan issues; supports fundraising-related business development; and mentors junior staff. Travel for client meetings may reach 15% of the time.

Develop and manage commercial loan and deposit relationships with privately held businesses and high-net-worth individuals. Analyze financing requests, assess credit risk, interview applicants, coordinate loan processing, ensure compliance with lending policies and Bank Secrecy Act requirements, and oversee portfolio servicing. Promote banking products, resolve customer issues, authorize loan-related correspondence and transactions, and represent the bank in community activities.

Manages commercial loan and deposit portfolios, develops client and referral relationships, and generates new banking business. Evaluates creditworthiness, underwrites and negotiates business loans, coordinates closings and servicing, reviews financial reporting and borrowing bases, and ensures compliance with lending policies and banking regulations. The role also conducts due diligence, manages renewals, approves transactions within limits, and supports client retention and growth.
