Leads external positioning and integrated communications for BMO’s Commercial and Wealth businesses. Develops strategic communications programs, oversees internal and executive communications, advises senior leaders, manages teams and agency partners, identifies media and storytelling opportunities, and uses analytics and competitive intelligence to measure impact. The role supports brand reputation, stakeholder engagement, business growth, and regulatory compliance across a complex financial services organization.

Build and manage relationships with mass-affluent clients by identifying financial needs and providing banking, investment, insurance, lending, and advisory solutions. Acquire new clients and assets, grow portfolio relationships, meet sales targets, support onboarding, conduct client reviews, manage risk and compliance, develop community referral networks, and coach branch personnel on serving affluent clients.

Leads enterprise-wide, risk-based internal audit strategy and coverage across cybersecurity and core technology domains, including cloud, infrastructure, engineering, software delivery, operations, resilience, and third parties. Oversees audit quality, regulatory examinations, remediation, continuous monitoring, analytics, and AI-enabled auditing. Builds specialized capabilities, leads geographically dispersed teams, partners with executives and regulators, communicates risk insights to senior management and the Board, and develops a high-performance risk culture.
