Own the direction and roadmap for Benchling’s Schemas platform, including schema types, computed fields, fieldsets, constraints, static properties, and data versioning. Build and productionize end-to-end AI agents that automate scientific workflows, including experiment design, data capture, analysis, and reporting. Partner directly with customers to identify use cases, gather feedback, develop evaluations, and onboard scientific teams. Work across backend and frontend systems, improve agent infrastructure, and shape Benchling’s AI engineering practices and product direction.

Owns the global strategy and performance of named Global Systems Integrator partnerships. Responsibilities include developing joint business plans, building executive relationships, allocating resources, driving co-selling and pipeline generation, enabling partner teams, creating repeatable solutions, managing governance and escalations, and coordinating regional execution. The role also supports ecosystem expansion and cross-functional alignment across sales, services, customer success, legal, finance, product, engineering, and marketing.

The Senior Accountant supports daily accounting operations, month-end close, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial statement preparation, flux analysis, audits, internal controls, and GAAP-compliant processes. The role focuses primarily on personnel-related costs, including commissions, bonuses, employee benefits, and stock-based compensation. It also contributes to process improvements, accounting policies, systems development, and cross-functional finance projects.

Lead Benchling implementations for biotech and biopharma customers from kickoff through go-live. Manage project plans, requirements workshops, solution design, data modeling, configuration, testing, user acceptance testing, training, and onboarding. Serve as a trusted scientific and product advisor, advocate for customer needs, develop training materials, and identify post-launch expansion opportunities.

Build and operate production-grade ELT pipelines from Benchling, Salesforce, and third-party systems into Snowflake using dbt. Own ingestion, transformation, warehouse, BI, governance, monitoring, testing, access controls, privacy, cost, and performance. Partner with AI engineering to provide trusted data for internal AI applications and agentic workflows, contribute to warehouse and metrics-layer architecture, and translate cross-functional stakeholder needs into scalable data solutions.

Owns deferred revenue, allowance for credit losses, contract modifications, professional services revenue, and revenue close activities in a high-growth SaaS environment. The role requires technical ASC 606 expertise, audit and SOX ownership, process automation, and cross-functional collaboration on consumption-based products, AI partnership economics, pricing models, and business expansion.

Leads strategic finance, annual planning, forecasting, and long-range financial modeling while partnering with executives on investments, growth, product strategy, pricing, partnerships, and capital allocation. Owns SaaS performance analysis, executive and Board reporting, financial accuracy, planning processes, and performance frameworks. Builds and develops a high-performing strategic finance team and drives process improvements as the company scales.

Build developer-experience tooling and frameworks that streamline development, testing, packaging, and production releases. Lead release tooling designed to move code changes to production within 10 minutes, implement quality feedback loops, and improve engineering workflows using qualitative and quantitative feedback. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to enhance developer productivity, engineering practices, and operational patterns while helping scale the team and platform.
