Own the direction and roadmap for Benchling’s Schemas platform, including schema types, computed fields, fieldsets, constraints, static properties, and data versioning. Develop customer personas and jobs-to-be-done, translate customer needs into product requirements, and partner with Engineering, Design, Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, and other product teams. Champion structured data as the foundation for AI capabilities while balancing platform stability with incremental delivery.

Own the prioritization, roadmap, and product direction for core infrastructure teams. Translate engineering constraints, customer needs, and business priorities into outcome-focused decisions; conduct customer discovery; define requirements; coordinate across organizations; track reliability, cost, adoption, and developer productivity metrics; and partner on cloud economics, forecasting, vendor strategy, and infrastructure investments.

Leads Benchling’s enterprise applications function, owning the SaaS portfolio, architecture, integrations, platform lifecycle, and vendor strategy. Oversees revenue and finance systems programs, including quote-to-cash, pricing, packaging, and billing. Drives automation, AI adoption, self-service, audit-ready SOX controls, and measurable operational efficiency. Partners with Finance, Sales, RevOps, People, Legal, and CX leaders while developing the applications team and contractor bench.
