Teams at BILL

Lead partner-facing technical solutioning for BILL’s embedded financial platform. Responsibilities include conducting discovery and deep-dive workshops, designing API and systems integrations, leading architecture sessions and code reviews, creating technical documentation, training users, coordinating cross-functional teams, and managing multiple implementation projects. The role requires translating complex technical concepts into business outcomes for senior stakeholders and includes approximately 25% travel.

Own contract billing, collections, accounts receivable and revenue reconciliations for contract and strategic partners. Lead month-end and quarter-end close activities, complex journal entries, SOX controls, audit support, and revenue reporting. Partner cross-functionally to resolve billing discrepancies, assess bad debt, improve processes, automate reconciliations, and ensure accurate ASC 606-compliant reporting. Provide financial insights and support scalable revenue and AR operations.

Own the vision, architecture, delivery, and adoption of BILL’s zero-to-one Rewards Platform. Lead the transition from manual rewards processing to a real-time automated engine supporting configurable rewards, promotions, referrals, partner integrations, and AI personalization. Partner across Engineering, Data, Finance, Risk, Compliance, Marketing, and external providers to ensure scalable APIs, accurate accounting, auditability, regulatory compliance, and measurable improvements in card engagement, customer lifetime value, and contribution margin.
