Leads cost and inventory accounting, including standard costing, manufacturing variance analysis, inventory valuation, cost of revenue, reserves, close processes, audit support, technical accounting, and SOX documentation. Partners cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, FP&A, Procurement, Logistics, and Engineering while advising leadership on complex accounting matters. Manages reporting, controls, process improvements, and develops cost accounting team members.

Provides technical advisory services to utility customers evaluating Bloom’s energy technologies. Educates stakeholders, assesses power markets, regulations, customer business models, competing technologies, and proposal economics. Supports Sales and Commercial Operations in developing technology configurations, deal strategies, and bids. Collects customer and market feedback, collaborates with Engineering, Marketing, Services, and the CTO office, and develops value propositions and commercial offerings. The role is onsite in San Jose and requires 50% travel.

Leads continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S methods. Facilitates workshops and Gemba walks, analyzes processes, identifies waste, maintains value stream maps, conducts 5S audits, tracks safety and productivity metrics, and collaborates with production, quality, logistics, and engineering teams. The role also supports manufacturing by building and assembling parts and promotes employee engagement in continuous improvement.
