Report and write short- and long-form stories for web and a weekly print edition; own an East Bay beat, develop and manage high-level sources, break exclusive stories, and shape the voice and look of digital and print products. Produce daily emails and multimedia content while spending most of the work week reporting on the ground.

Report on breaking business news across the Bay Area by monitoring sources, cross-checking facts, and publishing frequent articles (12+ weekly). Develop sources, attend events, pursue investigative stories and collaborate with colleagues to produce multimedia content.

Lead editorial projects and event-related publications: assign and manage freelancers, edit and proof content to AP/Business Journal style, write and report stories, coordinate workflows and timelines, support event social media and outreach, and collaborate across departments.
