Supports space-based laser communications hardware from design through production. Diagnoses multidisciplinary optomechanical and electromechanical issues, leads root cause and corrective actions, improves manufacturing yield and supplier quality, executes environmental and acceptance testing, manages engineering changes, and prepares technical procedures and reports. The role collaborates across design, manufacturing, and suppliers while supporting design verification and continuous improvement.

Conduct comprehensive interviews and document investigations to establish background suitability. Submit detailed reports timely, supporting national security initiatives.
