Teams at California Rural Legal Assistance, Inc.

Provides civil legal services to low-income clients through advice, negotiation, litigation, and administrative advocacy. Supports statewide impact litigation, community education, and collaboration with advocacy organizations and service providers. Supervises related support work, develops poverty-law expertise, participates in training and task forces, maintains case records, and serves clients across CRLA practice areas.

Provide full-scope post-conviction legal services focused on record clearing for low-income clients in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. Conduct outreach, clinics, Know-Your-Rights presentations, intake and case management, file court documents, track hearings, train volunteers, coordinate with public defenders and partners, and support program evaluation and grant reporting.
