Owns IT infrastructure and operations for a growing medical device company, including enterprise networks, firewalls, wireless systems, servers, cloud infrastructure, endpoint security, and identity platforms. Leads security tooling, incident remediation, software license management, IT policies, SOX ITGC testing, audit support, and vendor relationships. The role also provides technical leadership, develops IT operations staff, and may assume oversight of helpdesk functions as the organization scales.

Lead the architecture and development of fluidic subsystems for kidney stone treatment devices, including irrigation, aspiration, pumps, valves, sensors, tubing, and control algorithms. Define requirements, conduct modeling, prototyping, testing, risk management, and design verification. Collaborate across engineering, clinical, quality, regulatory, suppliers, and operations to deliver compliant, scalable products. Provide technical leadership, conduct design reviews, investigate root causes, guide technology roadmaps, and mentor engineers.

Drive adoption and sales of Calyxo’s kidney stone treatment technology across a San Francisco territory. Responsibilities include meeting quotas, forecasting, territory planning, generating leads, conducting product demonstrations, training physicians, developing hospital and ASC accounts, building relationships with urologists and key opinion leaders, supporting clinical education, resolving product issues, and maintaining regulatory and compliance standards. Frequent travel and collaboration with sales, marketing, finance, customer service, and professional education teams are required.
