Develops and optimizes molecular diagnostic assays using NGS, PCR, and molecular biology methods. Designs, executes, documents, and analyzes experiments; supports assay validation and high-dimensional data interpretation; and collaborates with bioinformatics, biostatistics, data science, clinical operations, and regulatory teams. Provides scientific guidance, manages multiple projects, and contributes to diagnostic test development for transplant and other clinical applications.

Supports clinical laboratory supply chain operations by processing purchase orders, maintaining NetSuite inventory records, coordinating domestic and international shipments, tracking deliveries and customs issues, reconciling inventory, monitoring stock levels, maintaining supplier documentation, and tracking supply chain performance metrics. The role also assists with warehouse activities and continuous process improvements in a regulated environment.

Leads sustaining improvements, assay optimization, troubleshooting, analytical validation, and new product development for regulated molecular diagnostic assays. Provides technical leadership across R&D, bioinformatics, clinical, regulatory, and operations teams; defines performance requirements and validation plans; supports technology transfer; and mentors junior scientists. The role requires expertise in gene expression profiling, low-input genomics, NGS, PCR/qPCR, and diagnostic development in CLIA/CAP/FDA/ISO-regulated environments.
