Leads the long-term technical health and strategic direction of Carta’s Middle Office engineering domain. Designs scalable distributed systems, resolves ambiguous cross-functional problems, drives architectural and reliability improvements, establishes AI engineering practices, aligns teams on technical decisions, maintains operational standards, and mentors senior engineers. The role focuses on private equity and venture capital workflows including portfolio data ingestion, valuation, allocation, forecasting, and reporting.

Lead product strategy and delivery for Carta's Fund Administration platform. Collaborate with designers, engineers, and business partners to prioritize features, ship impactful products, and solve complex user problems using systems thinking, data, and rapid validation methods.

Manage a portfolio of private equity firm customers to drive adoption, retention, and expansion of Carta's Fund Administration and ERP products. Build strategic relationships, deliver data-driven account plans, lead renewals and negotiations, mitigate churn, collaborate cross-functionally, and translate client feedback into product improvements and growth opportunities.

Serve as a technical private capital and accounting expert guiding large, complex clients from late-stage sale through onboarding and go-live. Manage cross-functional conversions, set expectations, build governance, drive product/operational solutions, and foster executive-level relationships to maximize platform adoption and client value.

Provide high-touch support to the CFO and SVP of Finance including heavy calendar management, inbox triage, international travel and visa coordination, board and audit committee meeting logistics, expense approvals, event and offsite planning, end-of-day briefings, and cross-team liaison work while contributing to EA team projects.

As a Senior Account Executive in Fund Administration, you will manage sales cycles, communicate business impacts, and drive revenue through strategic sales strategies.

Provide paralegal support for fund-related matters: draft LP transfer and subscription documents, manage execution workflows, liaise with transfer parties, collaborate with lawyers and senior paralegals, and develop commercial and legal expertise with opportunities for SQE qualification.
