Leads manufacturing process transfer, validation, scale-up, sustaining engineering, and continuous improvement for life science consumables. Responsibilities include troubleshooting, root cause analysis, CAPA, process monitoring, Lean/Six Sigma implementation, NPI support, documentation, equipment onboarding, and operational readiness. The role partners cross-functionally with product development and operations while supporting cleanroom manufacturing, process qualification, yield improvement, capacity expansion, and production launch.

Develop and optimize machine learning, computer vision, signal-processing, and image-analysis algorithms for workflow automation and biological technologies. Integrate algorithms with hardware and software systems, optimize deployment on edge devices and GPUs, validate performance, and document results. The role requires strong Python development, mathematical and algorithmic expertise, and collaboration across multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Own end-to-end people operations, including onboarding, offboarding, leave administration, benefits, payroll support, and multi-state compliance. Manage Foster City workplace operations, vendors, events, and cross-site engagement. Coordinate recruiting logistics, offers, and pre-boarding while improving HR processes through automation. Partner with Finance, Legal, managers, and employees to deliver accurate, efficient, and responsive people services in a rapidly scaling startup.
