Develop, maintain, and scale company websites and web applications. Design system infrastructure, manage servers, ensure security and performance, integrate back-end data sources, implement responsive HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript interfaces, write testable efficient code, document systems, and collaborate with designers and vendors to deploy enhancements and recovery policies.

Provide front-desk and office support: greet guests, answer phones and website inquiries, manage mail and deliveries, maintain office supplies and cleanliness, coordinate vendors and building services, assist with meeting logistics, copying/scanning, and basic administrative tasks to ensure an efficient office environment.

Work directly with the CEO on exploratory, high-risk research projects in genomics; collaborate with other scientists; advise leadership on cutting-edge technologies; communicate complex scientific concepts to non-scientific audiences; prepare summaries and provide publications/product development history.

Oversee daily genomics lab operations: train and supervise staff, manage sample intake and tracking, operate and troubleshoot sequencing and molecular biology instruments, maintain protocols, inventory, vendor relations, facilities and safety programs, and ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting.

Perform supervised R&D to develop reagents, materials, and processes for genomic manufacturing technologies. Conduct organic synthesis, analytical testing (LC, MS, HPLC, NMR, FTIR, UV, fluorescence), instrument calibration, documentation, SOP preparation, and support pilot manufacturing and QC operations.

Perform hands-on molecular biology and biochemistry experiments (RNA/DNA extraction, PCR/qPCR, NGS, microarrays), generate and analyze high-quality reproducible data, maintain detailed lab records, communicate progress, troubleshoot experiments, and support product science R&D timelines.

Lead day-to-day operations for a high-growth life science company across US and Asia. Oversee office operations, administration, IT, and support for research and manufacturing. Drive business continuity, process and productivity improvements, annual budgeting, policy development, strategic planning, and cross-functional liaison with business leaders.

Perform high-throughput molecular lab work including DNA isolation, fragmentation, PCR/qPCR/ddPCR, and NGS library preparation. Follow SOPs, use LIMS, operate automated liquid handlers, document results, maintain quality control, manage inventory, troubleshoot, and meet aggressive timelines in a startup environment.

Provide lab operations support including purchasing reagents and small equipment, managing inventory, vendor negotiation, maintaining equipment and databases, and organizing filing systems to support research and operations teams.

Develop and translate photolithographic patterning chemistries and materials for DNA/biomolecule fabrication. Design and optimize fabrication processes, specify materials and tools, perform DOE and statistical analysis, maintain/process tools, troubleshoot manufacturing, document and present results, and support transfer to development and high-volume manufacturing while upholding quality and safety.

Lead and manage the HR function including talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, training, compliance, employee relations, succession planning, HRIS implementation, budgeting, policy development, and advising senior management. Oversee HR staff, ensure federal/state compliance, conduct exit interviews, and support organizational strategy and special projects.

Provide high-level administrative support to the CEO: manage calendar and calls, arrange travel, process expenses and invoices, coordinate meetings and events, draft correspondence and presentations, maintain organized filing, take minutes, and handle confidential matters with discretion.

Perform hands-on experimental work from concept to product development, execute genomic assays (including NGS), analyze data, develop QC procedures, document protocols and SOPs, track projects, and communicate results to stakeholders.

Design and implement real-time, multitasking software for biochemical research instruments. Develop GUIs, automate mechanical stages, optical assemblies and fluidics, integrate CAN bus and RS-232 devices, collaborate with EE and signal processing teams, maintain products, and meet schedules in a multidisciplinary environment.

Design, fabricate, procure, integrate, and support mechanical and fluidic system components and instruments for manufacturing R&D. Troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, upgrade, and test equipment; collaborate cross-functionally, document results, analyze data, and present findings.

Support mechanical design and development of medical device packaging and assembly: prototype, model components, assist testing and verification, interact with suppliers, perform root-cause analysis, and help maintain in-house assembly systems under senior engineer guidance.

Perform synthesis and analytical characterization of small molecules, nucleotides, and oligonucleotides; develop surface modification and bioconjugation chemistries; document and analyze experimental data; collaborate with and supervise technical staff to advance nucleic acid sequencing technologies.
