Teams at Chainguard

Manage and grow a West Coast territory by developing leads, building executive relationships, communicating Chainguard’s secure software value proposition, managing CRM opportunities, forecasting, exceeding quota, and collaborating with product, support, and sales engineering teams. The role requires SaaS, security, or DevOps closing experience and occasional client travel as needed.

Lead architecture and implementation of Chainguard Repository’s customer-facing package registries, APIs, and artifact-serving services. Build and operate highly available Go backend systems, improve scalability, reliability, observability, performance, and load testing, and shape repository support for libraries, containers, images, and APKs. Collaborate across engineering teams to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure at scale.

Lead the strategy, architecture, and operation of Chainguard’s database platform. Build production tooling and automated guardrails; improve replication, high availability, backups, disaster recovery, migrations, capacity planning, and global database resilience. Assess risks across existing systems, establish standards and governance, write production code, and lead cross-functional initiatives across engineering teams. The role requires deep PostgreSQL and MySQL expertise, cloud infrastructure experience, Linux and Go proficiency, and staff-level technical leadership.
