Design, build, and operate backend product capabilities for hospitality workflows using PHP, Java, APIs, data models, and event-driven systems. Own technical design through production, including infrastructure, deployment, observability, testing, incident response, and on-call support. Improve distributed-system scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability while collaborating with Product, Design, Infrastructure, Security, and Engineering teams. Mentor peers and contribute to architecture, code reviews, and pragmatic product delivery.

Design, build, and operate backend product capabilities and distributed systems using PHP and Java. Develop APIs, data models, integrations, asynchronous workflows, and event-driven services with PostgreSQL, Kafka, REST, and gRPC. Own technical design through production, including infrastructure, deployments, observability, testing, incident response, and on-call support. Collaborate cross-functionally, make architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and use AI coding agents to deliver reliable customer-facing solutions.

Architect and improve AWS infrastructure, build and maintain Kubernetes platforms, automate provisioning with infrastructure as code, and support CI/CD delivery. The role improves security, reliability, scalability, performance, and quality while helping development teams apply DevOps practices. Responsibilities include application and environment configuration, production support, and participation in an on-call rotation.
