Provides hands-on OT and IT infrastructure support at a manufacturing site, maintaining servers, network equipment, cabling, edge compute, endpoints, and security controls. Installs and configures networking hardware, manages assets, supports Windows, macOS, and Linux systems, collaborates with engineering and cybersecurity teams, responds to site security events, and creates technical documentation. The role is fully on-site, includes physical work around industrial equipment, and requires occasional on-call, nights, weekends, and travel.

Supports controls engineering for advanced fusion equipment through schematic drafting, PLC programming and configuration, safety component selection, and control software specification, development, and testing. The intern may work on site in Milpitas and must follow stringent safety practices around industrial hazards, high voltage, cryogenics, and strong magnets. The role is intended for currently enrolled engineering students with electrical engineering coursework, automation experience, and completed circuits and power courses.

Defines enterprise architecture strategy and roadmaps across ERP, PLM, MES, cloud, data, and operational technology systems. Leads solution design, governance, integrations, platform evaluations, modernization, security alignment, and digital-thread initiatives. Partners with engineering, manufacturing, finance, supply chain, IT, executives, and shop-floor teams to deliver integrated technology architectures and transformation plans. The role requires extensive enterprise architecture experience, PLM-ERP-MES implementation expertise, cross-functional communication, and occasional travel in an industrial environment.

Lead advanced multi-physics simulation (FEA/CFD) for next-gen hardware, run coupled thermal-structural-fluid-chemical analyses, validate models against test data, drive design reviews, manage modeling deliverables, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver prototype-ready designs.

Develop, select, and maintain metrology and measurement systems. Create SOPs, train staff, manage data via LIMS/MES, coordinate metrology vendors, and ensure safety and quality in challenging environments.
