Teams at Compass Family Services

Coordinates weekly food distribution, vendor orders, deliveries, inventory, food safety, and volunteer operations. Manages distribution center organization, data entry, package unloading, supplies, and client flow. Supports drop-in center operations, crisis de-escalation, intake coverage, Fun Pass reservations, and collaboration with reception staff. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds and working onsite with homeless families and volunteers.

Manages fundraising operations, including gift processing, donor database administration, Salesforce data integrity, reconciliation, reporting, acknowledgements, mailings, and workflow improvements. Partners with Finance, Salesforce administrators, consultants, and Development colleagues to maintain accurate records and support donor engagement. Also assists with events, in-kind deliveries, funding research, and donor screening.

Supports families experiencing homelessness in accessing and maintaining subsidized childcare for children ages 0–5. Screens eligibility, assesses family needs and preferences, assists with enrollment, addresses transportation and language barriers, monitors placement success, resolves family-provider communication issues, and connects parents with employment, education, and community resources.
