Leads and develops a team of 5–10 Operations Coordinators supporting researchers, programs, visitors, events, onboarding, and offboarding. Owns hiring, training, performance management, capacity planning, scheduling, request prioritization, quality standards, and process improvement. Partners cross-functionally to align operations with organizational priorities and build a sustainable coordinator program. This is a full-time, in-person Berkeley role with occasional evening work.

Coordinates program analysis, user research, impact measurement, community experience, membership evaluation, events, communications, and special projects. The role combines quantitative analysis and strategic problem-solving with hands-on support for members, researchers, and high-profile technical and policymaker events. It is full-time and on-site in Berkeley.

Coordinates programs focused on improving member and community experiences. Responsibilities include conducting user research, gathering feedback, identifying needs, designing and iterating program improvements, supporting membership evaluation and onboarding, coordinating events, maintaining website content, and assisting with communications. The role partners with operations to implement enhancements and requires strong organization, communication, prioritization, initiative, and interest in AI safety.
