Architect, develop, deploy, and support scalable APIs, integrations, data pipelines, orchestrated services, and microservices for Matterport’s enterprise business platform. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, customer-facing and internal system integration, production issue resolution, monitoring live environments, and building maintainable, testable software. Candidates should have extensive cloud integration and enterprise application services experience, with expertise in modern object-oriented programming languages and familiarity with UI frameworks, ERP/CRM platforms, databases, containers, and CI/CD.

Lead the design, development, deployment, and monitoring of scalable platform features, APIs, backend services, integrations, and microservices. Work with relational and non-relational databases in a cloud environment, collaborate cross-functionally, promote engineering best practices, troubleshoot production issues, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead development of high-performance Android applications for Matterport’s 3D capture, editing, and viewing experiences. Collaborate with engineering and product marketing to define and deliver features, evaluate new technologies, estimate work, and implement quality solutions through Agile development. Maintain, troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize existing mobile applications, with emphasis on mobile performance, networking, storage, security, memory management, multitasking, and application lifecycle management.
