Investigate and resolve complex commercial liability claims (typically >$250K). Determine coverage, set loss estimates, direct investigations, negotiate settlements, control costs, recommend litigation, and serve as expert witness. Mentor staff, perform peer reviews, support catastrophe response, and develop client relationships for business development.

Manage complex liability claims end-to-end: investigate coverage and liability, set reserves, authorize payments, coordinate litigation and subrogation, prepare reports, and mentor junior staff.

Process medical-only and maintenance workers' compensation claims within payment authority, verify coverage and medical information, approve medical payments after compensability is determined, update computerized claim records, communicate with claimants/insurers/providers, escalate issues to Team Manager, and support related administrative tasks and special projects.
