Develop and maintain Android features for Crunchyroll’s mobile monetization experiences. Own feature delivery with emphasis on code quality, performance, scalability, and user experience. Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Design, and Program Management; participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, technical planning, on-call support, and testing. Identify technical debt and reliability issues while improving development practices and operational efficiency across large, modular codebases.

Lead reliability, scalability, observability, automation, infrastructure, disaster recovery, and security initiatives for Crunchyroll’s cloud-native data platforms. Design and operate Kubernetes and GCP systems, establish SRE practices including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets, manage incidents and vulnerabilities, strengthen cloud security, and mentor engineers across teams.

Lead design and productionalize ML algorithms and pipelines to detect account-sharing fraud in real time. Build scalable preprocessing, training, deployment, monitoring, and A/B testing solutions with cross-functional teams to optimize detection while minimizing user disruption.

Build and improve backend services and APIs supporting secure, reliable video playback. Own projects involving content protection, streaming security, playback latency, publishing workflows, and availability testing. Collaborate across product and engineering teams, participate in on-call response, debug production issues, and improve testing, observability, documentation, and service reliability.
