Deaf Counseling Advocacy & Referral Agency (DCARA) is a nonprofit community-based agency serving Deaf, DeafBlind, Hard of Hearing, and Late-Deafened people in Northwestern California and the Bay Area. It advocates for full access to American Sign Language and English, education, employment, and cultural identity. Its programs include community empowerment, employment, youth and family services, and interpreting services, supporting communication access and greater opportunity for the communities it serves.
