Requires extensive transformer control design experience, electrical engineering expertise, AutoCAD proficiency, and knowledge of industry standards.

Design and verify mechanical components for medium-voltage mobile power transformers and substations. Create 3D core and coil designs, shop drawings, connection diagrams, woodwork structures, and lead routing using EAP and Autodesk Inventor. Generate ERP material usage files, support production by resolving design issues, and provide technical guidance. Future responsibilities include external transformer and tank designs, plus programming plasma and wood routing machines.

Leads capital expenditure and continuous improvement projects in a transformer manufacturing plant. Responsibilities include technical design, project planning, budgeting, scheduling, vendor and contractor coordination, equipment commissioning, layout optimization, tooling development, reliability improvements, data analysis, and compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role supports production and maintenance teams while advancing Lean Manufacturing, 5S, operational excellence, and process efficiency initiatives.
