Leads intraoperative organ perfusion and preservation, manages surgical teams and OR logistics, assists surgeons with organ recovery, performs cannulation and kidney pumping, maintains regulatory documentation, trains and orients staff, and provides on-call field support to ensure successful organ procurement and transplant readiness.

Coordinates tissue donation cases from referral through recovery, including donor screening, regulatory documentation, family authorization discussions, hospital and partner communication, logistics, and recovery coordination. Serves as a Donation Discussion subject matter expert, trains and coaches Donation Coordinators, manages escalations and daily floor assignments, identifies process errors, and supports quality assurance, compliance, and operational efficiency in a 24/7 environment.

The Clinical Procurement Coordinator manages donor referrals, evaluates donor suitability, coordinates organ recovery, provides family support, and collaborates with medical staff.
