Lead clinical engineering and IT functions across hospital and ambulatory sites, directing medical device integration (EMR, DICOM, HL7), device security and PHI protection, telemedicine, RFID and telephony programs. Manage biomedical engineering staff, vendors, budgets, policies, inventory, and repair operations. Develop standards, support interoperability, collaborate with IS/CISO, and participate in leadership, safety committees, and on-call rotations. Oversee project implementation and cross-divisional service models.

Support and lead compliance program activities: monitor regulatory changes, perform audits and investigations, develop policies and training, review billing/coding, report risks, and advise clinical and operational teams to ensure regulatory adherence and corrective actions.

Lead El Camino Health's internal audit function by developing and executing a risk-based audit plan, managing operational/financial/compliance/IT audits, reporting to senior leadership and the Board, overseeing audit quality and staff development, supporting ERM, coordinating with Compliance/Legal/HR, and tracking corrective actions to strengthen controls and governance.
