Write and edit accessible journalism about AI for a general audience. Responsibilities include pitching ideas, drafting articles, editing researchers’ and writers’ work, setting editorial standards, and helping launch a consistent media program. The founding editor will shape editorial direction and clarify technical material without oversimplifying it.

Produce and edit short-form AI videos for TikTok and Instagram, owning the process from ideation through publication. Develop sustainable video formats, manage posting and engagement strategies, and translate technical AI research into compelling content for general audiences. The role also involves shaping the organization’s social video presence from the ground up and collaborating with researchers and the media program lead in person in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Own end-to-end recruiting across research, engineering, communications, and operations. Responsibilities include scoping roles, sourcing candidates, managing referrals and outreach, designing assessments, screening applications in Lever, coordinating interviews and work trials, maintaining candidate communications, and project-managing 5–10 simultaneous hiring rounds. Senior Recruiters additionally guide hiring analytics and recruiting budgets while advising hiring managers on strategy and process.
