As a Principal Consultant, you will provide strategic leadership in transportation planning for major projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards while mentoring others. You will lead impact assessments and drive business development efforts for sustainable infrastructure initiatives.

Provide environmental permitting and compliance consulting for power, transmission, and renewable energy projects, emphasizing CEQA/NEPA, Clean Water Act Sections 401/404, and Endangered Species Act. Prepare impact assessment deliverables, conduct data collection and field surveys, write technical reports, manage data and communications for compliance programs, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, meet quality/budget/schedule expectations, and interact directly with clients and SMEs.

Lead environmental permitting and regulatory compliance for large-scale power and renewable projects in California. Advise clients on CEQA/NEPA and natural resource permitting, prepare technical studies and EIRs, develop permit strategies, negotiate with state and federal agencies, mentor staff, and support business development to expand ERM's capital project delivery services.
