Infrastructure and Site Reliability Engineering Intern responsible for building and managing on-premises backend infrastructure for a semiconductor fab. Duties include infrastructure-as-code, server fleet management, monitoring, alerting, automation, secret management, performance optimization, and production debugging. The role emphasizes Linux, systems programming, reliability, observability, and close collaboration with engineering teams. A portfolio demonstrating software engineering projects is required.

Develop real-time Linux and Rust applications for semiconductor fabrication equipment. Design algorithms and simulations for robotic control systems, improve robot efficiency, and contribute to interdisciplinary projects involving motor controllers, path planning, and trajectory control. Interns receive significant ownership of mission-critical hardware and software initiatives and must provide a portfolio demonstrating software engineering work and projects built.
