Integrates, tests, validates, and troubleshoots LTE and 5G Layer 1 and Layer 2 systems, SDR platforms, OpenAirInterface, Open RAN, RF equipment, and advanced waveforms. Builds and maintains wireless communications laboratories, executes performance and interoperability testing, develops automation, analyzes results, and resolves hardware, software, networking, RF, and integration issues. Supports demonstrations, field exercises, technology evaluations, and customer engagements in hybrid laboratory and operational environments.

Provides technical leadership for cybersecurity engineering on AWACS aircraft and ground-system modernization programs. Responsibilities include secure network and communications architecture, RMF compliance, ATO/IATT and POA&M development, cyber risk assessments, avionics and mission-system integration, TEMPEST compliance, security requirements, and design reviews. The role supervises personnel and collaborates with systems, software, avionics, and test engineering teams. Active Secret clearance and significant military aviation cybersecurity experience are required, with 25–35% domestic and international travel.

Design, implement, simulate, verify, and debug FPGA-based signal-processing and high-speed data-movement architectures for RF and communications systems. Develop RTL using Verilog and VHDL on Xilinx RFSoC, MPSoC, and Versal platforms; integrate DSP algorithms, data converters, embedded processors, and high-speed interfaces. Perform timing closure, hardware bring-up, validation, documentation, and system integration while supporting DoD and mission-critical projects.
