Owns the organization’s Exposure Management SaaS platform and continuously identifies, assesses, prioritizes, and reduces cyber exposure across cloud, on-premises, hybrid, identity, application, and SaaS environments. Research Associates support Federal Reserve economists with economic, financial, and statistical research related to monetary policy and public information. They use quantitative analysis and programming to conduct academic research, collaborate across economic research areas, and may co-author publications. The role requires a two-year commitment, is conducted fully in-office in the San Francisco Bay Area, and is suited to candidates considering graduate study in economics or finance.

Provides executive and employee communications during major IT incidents, translates complex technical topics into clear messages, develops presentations and communication strategies, supports communications tools, maintains brand standards, monitors media trends, and produces video content. Advises stakeholders and executives while coordinating Systemwide IT communications and strategic storytelling. The role requires strong writing, editing, storytelling, collaboration, technical aptitude, and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Lead problem management across FRFS payments products by tracking incidents and trends, conducting root cause analysis, facilitating RCA meetings, driving enterprise-wide resolutions, writing known-error knowledge, and implementing mitigation to reduce recurrence and improve service reliability and customer experience.

Lead automation solutions development, manage integration for business applications, and ensure system performance and security. Provide technical guidance and support for junior developers.

This role involves leading red team cybersecurity efforts to evaluate and improve the security posture of the Federal Reserve System through advanced attack simulations and vulnerability assessments.
