Drive new business for Figma Weave by prospecting, managing pipeline, conducting discovery and product demonstrations, developing business cases, negotiating proposals, and closing deals. Partner with Figma account executives, legal, procurement, finance, security, customer success, and workflow advocates throughout customer buying processes. Maintain accurate forecasts, share customer feedback, and help evolve sales practices for a growing AI-focused product team.

Build and evolve shared Ruby backend frameworks supporting REST APIs, asynchronous jobs, workflow orchestration, and data access. Improve system reliability, scalability, performance, observability, and developer productivity across a large codebase. Modernize Sinatra services toward Rails, strengthen testing and CI, and create reusable platform capabilities. Partner with product and infrastructure engineers, provide technical guidance, and mentor teammates.

PhD interns apply HCI research and software engineering skills to develop interactive experience design tools. They collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and researchers; translate research into scalable solutions; prototype, validate, document, and deliver production-ready systems; and present their work across functions. The internship focuses on interaction design, animations, state visualization, prototypes, and code-backed experiences.
