Lead a highly technical backend engineering team building scalable SaaS systems and AI-powered accounting automation. Responsibilities include mentoring senior engineers and tech leads, resolving complex technical issues, guiding architecture and system design, reviewing code, operating distributed production systems, and driving AI-assisted software development using tools such as Cursor and Claude Code.

Lead the architecture, reliability, observability, automation, and scalability of FloQast’s cloud-native SaaS platform. The role owns SLOs, disaster recovery, monitoring, CI/CD strategy, infrastructure automation, and complex cross-team engineering initiatives. It also mentors engineers, establishes technical best practices, and partners across the organization to solve high-impact platform challenges.

Build and maintain FloQast’s coded design system and component library using React and TypeScript. Partner with platform and global engineering teams, standardize UI patterns, manage design tokens, documentation, accessibility, visual testing, and versioning. Prototype AI-native interfaces, enable designers and PMs to contribute front-end code, audit legacy UI, and improve performance across complex enterprise SaaS workflows and financial dashboards.
