Provides high-level administrative support to multiple Principal Investigators and the Directors office. Responsibilities include travel coordination, calendar management, event and seminar planning, document editing, grant and manuscript preparation, liaison with internal and external organizations, website updates, filing, correspondence, and departmental support. The role requires excellent organization, communication, judgment, editing skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with Microsoft Office on Mac OS X.

Develop and deploy computer vision, reinforcement learning, and multimodal machine learning systems for biomedical imaging and pathology research. Train and benchmark models, improve computational workflows, and support closed-loop microscopy experiments. Collaborate with biologists, imaging scientists, and engineers, contribute to manuscripts and grant proposals, and communicate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders. The role focuses on applying AI to neurodegeneration and other disease-related research.

The NOMIS-Gladstone Fellowship offers postdoctoral scientists the chance to conduct interdisciplinary neuroscience research while preparing for independent academic careers under mentorship.
