Engineering intern will build, test, debug, and ship web and mobile product features alongside senior engineers. The role includes creating AI-powered automation, interpreting usage data with analysts, iterating rapidly with AI-assisted development, and learning new languages, frameworks, and AI-native practices. This is an in-person NYC internship from June 8 through August 20, 2027.

Lead and grow a lean Applied AI engineering team while personally building agentic systems, prototypes, evaluations, and AI-native tools. Partner across Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Engineering to deliver measurable business outcomes, establish AI quality standards, test emerging models, and hand stable solutions to durable owners. The role requires managing engineers while remaining hands-on, connecting technical work to revenue and efficiency metrics, and creating processes for rapid experimentation and delivery.

Design and build Genius AI’s software factory, including CI platforms, deployment tooling, infrastructure-as-code guardrails, observability, alerting, SLOs, and incident-response systems. Lead infrastructure platform direction, enable safe self-service for engineers and AI agents, improve deployment velocity and reliability, review complex technical changes, and mentor engineers. The role requires hands-on expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, GitOps, CI/CD at scale, progressive delivery, and internal developer tooling.
