Supports Goldman Sachs’ government and regulatory affairs efforts through legislative engagement, advocacy initiatives, stakeholder relationship management, policy analysis, executive briefing preparation, events, surveys, newsletters, and impact-metric tracking. The role focuses on small business advocacy and broader public policy initiatives, using Salesforce, Excel, Quorum, and third-party advocacy platforms while coordinating internal and external partners.

Support Equity Research coverage within Business & Information Services: build and maintain three-statement financial models, conduct primary and secondary research, analyze earnings and industry trends, produce research reports and client materials, communicate findings to sales and investors, and serve as lead associate on assigned stocks while collaborating across the team.

Support senior institutional equity sales staff by managing client inquiries, synthesizing and distributing research, liaising with analysts and traders, marketing events and conferences, developing investment ideas, and building relationships with hedge fund, mutual fund, and pension clients.

Participate in a full-time New Associate program for candidates with 2–5 years' experience and an advanced degree. Develop product- and function-specific wealth management skills, work closely with senior professionals and clients, build a professional network, and receive training and mentorship within Asset & Wealth Management.

Support sourcing, diligence, analysis, and execution of early-stage investments. Build financial models and memos, research market trends, monitor portfolio holdings, attend industry events, and assist with operational tasks to support deal teams and investment decisions.
