Build and operate scalable database systems for an AI-native, multi-tenant SaaS data platform. Responsibilities include ingestion, query planning, distributed query execution, storage and data formats, retrieval APIs, tenant isolation, usage tracking, observability, and service reliability. The role requires architectural ownership, pragmatic experimentation, cross-functional collaboration, and production delivery across cloud-native environments.

Build full-stack Real User Monitoring features across frontend applications, backend services, APIs, and analytical storage systems. Design high-throughput telemetry ingestion, storage, querying, data models, and indexing strategies. Develop data-heavy user interfaces, optimize performance and costs, collaborate with SDK and cross-functional teams, and own projects from design through deployment, monitoring, testing, and iteration.

Prospect within and expand existing customer accounts across the West region. Manage the full consultative sales cycle, including prospecting, demos, proofs of concept, proposals, negotiations, forecasting, quoting, order processing, and account management. Communicate the value of Grafana Cloud and Grafana Enterprise, manage pipeline activity in Salesforce, achieve sales targets, and transition successful customer relationships to Customer Success.
