The candidate will lead troubleshooting and engineering support for AI hardware platforms, collaborating with teams on validation and performance.

Coordinates engineering planning, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables across multiple teams. Support the design, testing, validation, and development of power delivery components from grid to chip. Assemble and operate test hardware, fixtures, loads, and test environments; conduct functional, robustness, reliability, high-power, high-bandwidth, and energy-storage testing; evaluate custom components; and help transition validated designs into manufacturing and production.

Design, prototype, test, and validate grid-to-chip power delivery systems for AI data centers. Develop test environments, fixtures, loads, and custom power conversion hardware; perform high-voltage, high-power, reliability, energy storage, and bandwidth testing. Debug power hardware and firmware, address grid disturbance compatibility, guide manufacturers and engineering teams, and transition validated designs into production.

Lead strategic sourcing for memory and storage technologies, manage supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, develop cost models and risk mitigation plans, support NPI and production ramps, and collaborate cross-functionally to secure capacity and optimise cost, quality, and supply resilience for AI infrastructure platforms.

Lead global sourcing strategy for contract manufacturing partners: build and mentor a sourcing team, negotiate long-term agreements, develop cost models, ensure capacity and supply continuity, drive cross-functional alignment and supplier performance.

Lead architecture and design of power delivery from grid to chip for data center AI systems. Define roadmaps, specify rack- and board-level power hardware and firmware, drive vendor engagement, ensure reliability/efficiency, develop prototypes, validate designs, resolve complex hardware/firmware issues, and ensure industry compliance.

Drive automation-based validation execution for AI hardware platforms, defining validation strategies and ensuring system readiness across blade and rack levels.

Lead architecture and implementation of system management interfaces for AI infrastructure. Translate strategy into technical plans, mentor engineers, improve reliability, automate deployment and CI/CD, collaborate across hardware, firmware and platform teams, and drive production readiness and observability.

Build and operate system management interfaces for Graphcore AI hardware: own full SDLC for rack management solutions, deploy and manage containerized workloads on Kubernetes, use IaC and CI/CD, configure and test hardware in datacentres, collaborate with datacenter ops to troubleshoot and maintain fleet performance.

Lead strategic sourcing for memory and storage technologies (DRAM, SSD, HDD) supporting AI infrastructure. Develop supplier strategies, manage relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, ensure capacity and supply continuity, perform cost modelling and market intelligence, drive supplier performance and risk mitigation, and support new product introductions with cross-functional teams.

The Principal Network Engineer oversees network fabric maintenance for AI datacenters, collaborates on high-speed network design, and troubleshoots complex routing protocols.

Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing for AI infrastructure commodities: supplier selection, negotiation, cost modeling, performance management, risk mitigation, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure resilient supply for Graphcore's compute platforms.

Lead cross-functional programs for AI networking infrastructure, ensuring alignment between network architecture, hardware development, and operational readiness. Manage supplier relationships and oversee the technical roadmap for scalable AI infrastructure delivery.
