The Quality Engineer develops and maintains inspection methods, quality procedures, test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality documentation. Coordinates with project managers, vendors, and administrative teams while providing finance support for sales activities, commissioning, and project execution.

Enhances sales effectiveness by managing sales content libraries, developing playbooks and training, supporting product launches, creating competitive materials, and improving pricing and margin execution. Partners with product management, marketing, and field teams to translate technical information into sales resources. Maintains CRM and enablement technology proficiency, gathers field feedback, and tracks content, training, and productivity metrics.

Manage and grow relationships with assigned enterprise accounts by developing account plans, identifying decision-makers, creating pipeline, forecasting sales, and closing complex technology deals. Drive upselling, cross-selling, new revenue, and share-of-wallet growth for Hitachi Vantara’s data infrastructure solutions. Collaborate with specialist sales teams, channel partners, systems integrators, technical resources, and internal functions while aligning account activities with regional strategy and customer priorities.

Lead global corporate FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, consolidated P&L and profitability analysis. Build financial models, generate KPI-driven insights, prepare executive reporting, and partner with regional finance and business leaders. Drive process standardization, automation, and adoption of financial planning systems and AI-enabled analytics. Support strategic initiatives with scenario analysis and business case evaluation. Requires bilingual collaboration between Japan and the U.S. with a temporary relocation to Japan.

Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. Coordinates site meetings, reviews subcontractor schedules and safety reports, assists with resolving construction issues, liaises with owners and government officials, monitors productivity and quality, and communicates with trade unions. Requires construction site activity experience, knowledge of local construction methods and heavy equipment installation, and an active California contractor license.
