Lead delivery and modernization of a mission-critical Scheduling Event Bus for the VA. Manage cross-functional Agile/SAFe teams, stakeholder engagement, risk/SLA management, RMF/ATO compliance, and DevSecOps/cloud-native technical delivery. Oversee documentation, reporting, and team performance to meet federal regulations and strict SLAs.

Serve as the servant leader for one or more Agile Release Trains (ARTs), facilitate PI Planning and ART events, coordinate multi-team execution, manage dependencies/risks, drive program metrics and reporting, coach Agile roles, and use tools like Jira/Jira Align/Confluence to ensure predictable delivery and continuous improvement.

Design and implement secure, fault-tolerant event-driven architectures and integrations using Java and Apache Kafka. Lead cloud-native microservices and containerized deployments on AWS GovCloud/EKS, define message schemas and routing, produce technical specifications, enforce security and coding standards (HIPAA, NIST), mentor developers, and partner with SRE/Cloud teams to ensure resilient, monitored platform operations.
