Senior Java Developer/Architect role requiring 8+ years designing and developing Java SE/JEE applications, building REST/SOAP web services, parsing XML/JSON, working with RDBMS/SQL and web/application servers, and some front-end work (JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery, HTML). Hands-on design and development daily in a Linux/Unix environment. Onsite in Santa Clara; 6-month contract-to-hire; sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Design and implement pixel-perfect, high-performance front-end web applications from wireframes using HTML5, CSS3, and advanced JavaScript (AngularJS/Ember). Rapidly prototype, optimize and debug JS/CSS, integrate with backend web services, and create reusable UI components and standards. Collaborate on UX decisions and deliver projects in an Agile environment.

Design and implement platform-level integrated hardware and software solutions including virtualization, OS, networking, and storage. Develop and script automation, manage Linux/Solaris internals, and collaborate with teams to deploy enterprise platform components.
