Drives NPI service readiness for semiconductor inspection and metrology products. Responsibilities include defining service requirements, improving serviceability and diagnostics, creating documentation, validating tools and calibrations, managing spare-parts readiness, coordinating beta support, developing training, and resolving early customer escalations. The role collaborates internationally with R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, and field service teams and requires travel exceeding 25% as needed.

Lead architecture, integration, verification, and optimization of complex optical or electron-beam imaging systems. Define system requirements, manage interfaces, conduct error budgeting and tolerance analysis, troubleshoot performance issues, analyze test and field data, collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams, and support customer escalations. International travel to customer sites is required at least 20% of the time.

Owns service readiness and lifecycle support for released semiconductor products. Leads sustaining NPI, upgrades, retrofits, FCO rollouts, service BOMs, FRU strategy, tooling, documentation, training, spares, field validation, and change control. Coordinates cross-functional engineering, field service, supply chain, manufacturing, and product teams. Uses field data to improve reliability, serviceability, MTTR, PM duration, spare availability, and cost of service while supporting product lifecycle and installed-base upgrades.
