Design, implement, and tune algorithms and controls for tele-operated robotic surgical instruments. Lead motion-performance analysis, safety and risk documentation, regulatory support, manufacturing test development, and cross-disciplinary integration to ensure instrument fidelity and producibility.

Support transfer of new robotic surgical products from prototype through V&V and launch by developing manufacturing, assembly, calibration, and test processes; implement custom assembly/test equipment; use statistical methods (DOE, Cpk, Gage R&R) and PFMEA to validate and control processes; provide daily pilot line support and DFM input to R&D.

Lead clinical research and early product concept development for robotic-assisted surgical platforms. Define clinical performance goals, drive preclinical and clinical feasibility studies, collect and translate user needs into design requirements, manage budgets and timelines, mentor clinical research engineers, and collaborate cross-functionally to de-risk and advance novel technologies toward regulatory and commercial readiness.

Lead thermal and structural modeling for next-generation robotic-assisted surgery systems. Create FEA and modal models, develop thermal budgets for displays and PCBs, support design verification/testing, troubleshoot failures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to produce manufacturable electro-mechanical designs.

Support and improve embedded software build infrastructure for a surgical robot: automate infrastructure-as-code, maintain/build pipelines (Bazel, CMake, EMake), onboard engineers, monitor/resolve build issues, optimize build scripts, implement observability, and support CI/CD tooling across Windows and Linux in a regulated environment.

Lead revenue accounting activities under ASC 606 and ASC 842, including contract review, journal entries, reconciliations, month-end close, variance analysis, deal structuring in SAP, cross-functional implementation/testing, process improvement, and audit support.

Lead supplier engineering for medical device projects: drive DFM, qualify components and suppliers, define process validation, manage supplier development and cost targets, and partner with Design/Quality/Operations through launch and production.

Lead design and delivery of complex Salesforce solutions. Own architecture decisions across Flows, Apex, LWC, integrations, data migration, CI/CD, security, and governance. Mentor developers, perform code and Flow reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure compliance with security and change-control standards.

Lead integration and optimization of GPU-accelerated ML for robotic systems: profile and tune models and kernels, design software interfaces across edge, firmware, OS, and cloud, develop Linux kernel and driver components, build containerized GPU runtimes, drive system architecture and roadmaps, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver validated, high-performance medical device solutions.

Design and verify motion control, teleoperation, and safety algorithms for surgical robotic systems. Integrate prototype hardware, analyze electro-mechanical dynamics and clinical risk, develop control implementations and test protocols, participate in clinical evaluation, document requirements and risks, and support system performance from design through manufacturing.

Provide financial analysis and oversight for global manufacturing strategy and operations, supporting site expansions, capacity planning, capital investment decisions, budgeting/forecasting, and financial modeling. Partner with supply chain, engineering, IT, and factory leadership to build ROI analyses, capacity models, KPIs, and process improvements for the Technical Services organization.

Manage end-to-end recruiting coordination: create and finalize requisitions in Workday, post jobs, schedule interviews and travel, manage ServiceNow cases, audit offer details, monitor metrics and SLAs, support training/UAT and continuous process improvements to ensure a compliant, positive candidate experience.

Manage, maintain, and support global logistics and supply-chain applications (primarily SAP). Lead an applications team, set SLAs, manage vendors and resources, drive change management, prioritize capabilities, and hire/coach staff to improve application performance and scalability.

Develop and optimize Unity-based digital twin robotics simulation, focusing on physics, kinematic chains, and performance across CPU/GPU. Profile and improve XR performance, translate real-world robot behavior into simulation, make architectural and tradeoff decisions, and contribute to a large production codebase for maintainable, high-quality software.

Partner with business leaders and COEs to deliver high-touch HR support, resolve complex employee relations issues, lead recurring HR processes, coach senior management, drive talent and performance programs, support organizational transformations, and use data to inform HR solutions across a global, manufacturing environment.

Develop and maintain software and algorithms for semi-automated electro-mechanical manufacturing equipment. Integrate software with PLCs, sensors, and robotics; support validation (IQ/OQ/PQ, DQ); design software platforms and infrastructure for data extraction; optimize manufacturing processes; mentor engineers; and drive cross-functional projects to deliver production-quality, regulated manufacturing software.
