Lead the architecture, integration, development, and verification of embedded vision software for next-generation surgical robotics. Responsibilities include integrating cameras, image sensors, FPGA/ISP pipelines, and multi-processor systems; debugging end-to-end imaging issues; developing simulation and diagnostic tools; managing illumination controls and risk analyses; supporting regulated medical-device development; and mentoring vision engineers.

Edits hardware and software technical documentation for clarity, accuracy, consistency, and usability in guided workflows. Develops a data-driven quality metrics program, establishes editorial standards, configures content-quality tools, and creates scalable processes. Coaches technical writers and collaborates with product, UX, localization, publishing, and subject matter experts to improve content quality without direct authority. The role requires expertise in DITA, minimalist and task-based authoring, component content management systems, and quality measurement.
