Teams at Joby Aviation

Design, train, and deploy machine learning models and perception software for autonomous aircraft. Develop real-time AI algorithms using deep learning, 3D computer vision, and sensor fusion for navigation and detect-and-avoid systems. Build model training, evaluation, data management, simulation, and analysis tooling while collaborating with software, controls, sensing, and flight engineering teams. Optimize production autonomy systems and mentor engineers through strong software practices.

Supports the J208 Program Lead by managing schedules, budgets, forecasts, dependencies, critical paths, risks, and resource constraints across multidisciplinary aerospace engineering teams. Coordinates hardware, software, test, and finance stakeholders; resolves bottlenecks; maintains integrated master schedules; and provides recommendations and program management best practices to guide execution.

Leads execution of the J208 advanced aircraft development program across engineering, flight test, hardware, software, and business teams. Owns integrated master schedules, budgets, forecasting, risk mitigation, critical-path resolution, and cross-functional alignment. Develops program management standards and reporting frameworks, resolves complex technical and resource constraints, mentors team members, and advises senior leadership on strategic program decisions.
