Develops strategic hospital-account relationships and drives growth for Shockwave Medical’s cardiovascular device portfolio. Leads account initiatives, partnerships, contracting and VAC approvals; collaborates with sales, marketing and cross-functional teams; engages cardiovascular key opinion leaders; communicates clinical, reimbursement, health economics and pricing value propositions; and manages competitive insights, customer needs and strategic programs. Requires medical device sales expertise, strong influencing skills, clinical product knowledge and up to 50% domestic travel.

Manages sales growth for Shockwave Medical’s intravascular lithotripsy products across an assigned territory. Builds relationships with hospitals, physicians, and decision-makers; conducts consultative sales calls; educates customers on clinical product use; provides case coverage in catheter labs and operating rooms; achieves revenue quotas; submits required reports; and collaborates with clinical, marketing, R&D, and other teams while maintaining compliance with FDA, medical device, quality, and ethical standards.

Provides physician and hospital staff training, procedural case coverage, and clinical support for Shockwave Medical’s intravascular lithotripsy devices. Supports clinical studies through investigator management, protocol training, data collection, site retraining, and issue resolution. Manages territory travel and budgets while collaborating with clinical research, regulatory, medical, and commercial teams. Requires strong communication, organization, clinical research knowledge, and the ability to support interventional procedures in hospital settings.
