Lead Khan Lab School's brand, marketing, and community communications. Build content strategy, manage agency and vendors, run digital channels and paid campaigns, use AI tools daily, maintain analytics and reporting tied to enrollment, oversee student and external interns, produce multimedia, and support leadership and community communications.

Provide high-level administrative and project management support to the Executive Director across Khan Lab School and Khan Schools Network. Manage calendar, communications, travel, budgets, contracts, board logistics and minutes, and cross-organizational projects. Serve as liaison to staff, families, trustees, and partners; maintain confidential records; drive workflows and event logistics; and use AI and productivity tools to streamline operations and reporting.

Teach mastery-based high school Spanish (Grades 9-12), coordinate the World Language program, design and revise curriculum and scope/sequence, supervise advisory and extended-day activities, mentor student projects, integrate technology (including AI) for language practice, participate in admissions and community events, and contribute to school culture and professional development.

Lead and optimize school finance and business operations (purchasing, A/P, A/R, reporting, contracts, insurance, payment platforms), coordinate HR processes (recruiting, benefits, training, workers’ comp), and drive fundraising and community engagement (annual fund, donor management, event planning and execution). Provide reporting and systems administration, train staff, and support leadership to achieve operational and fundraising goals.

Serve as the Lower School front-desk and operations assistant, greeting visitors, managing phone and attendance systems, maintaining student records, providing basic first aid, coordinating lunch and volunteers, supporting faculty with supplies and scheduling, overseeing campus maintenance requests and shared spaces, and assisting with events, admissions, and logistical tasks.

General application for Upper School (grades 9-12) teachers. Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least one year teaching experience, familiarity with Khan Lab School philosophy, use of Khan Academy, inquiry/project-based pedagogy, data-informed assessment, strong collaboration and communication, flexibility, reflective practice, and willingness to support school events and varied tasks.

General application for Lower School (TK-5) teaching positions. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree, have at least one year of teaching experience, support Khan Lab School pedagogy, use Khan Academy when appropriate, implement inquiry/project-based learning, analyze student data, collaborate effectively, and adapt instruction based on feedback.

General application for a Middle School teacher (grades 6-8). Teach using Khan Lab School pedagogy and Khan Academy, employ inquiry- and project-based learning, assess and analyze student data, collaborate with colleagues, adapt to changing needs, and support student development. Occasional evenings/weekends and light physical tasks required.
