Khan Lab School

Khan Lab School (KLS) is a non-profit, independent K-12 co-educational school founded in 2014 by Sal Khan. The school implements a personalized, mastery-based learning environment where students progress at their own pace and academic progress is decoupled from age. Serving as a laboratory for educational innovation, KLS focuses on student agency, real-world application, and developing new teaching practices to share with the broader education space.
