Teams at KIPP (Knowledge is Power Program)

Provide academic and behavioral support to individual students and small groups in special education and general classrooms, both in-person and virtually. Assist with behavior intervention plans, testing accommodations, data tracking, classroom management, personal care for disabled students, and participate in IEPs and family communications.

Support teachers by providing instructional assistance to individuals and small groups (including special education inclusion), implementing classroom behavior systems, performing clerical tasks, and leading after-school programs for 60–80 elementary students with homework help and enrichment. Must work the full school year and participate in professional development and coaching.

Provide specialized academic instruction and behavior intervention for high school students with mild/moderate special needs; develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, collaborate with general education staff and families, maintain records, and use instructional technology to support in-class and distance learning while fostering an inclusive, culturally responsive classroom.
